Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with a dynamic product team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications, write efficient code, and drive the technical vision for scalable systems while mentoring teammates and ensuring high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team members to develop and maintain applications and features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while driving the technical vision for key product areas
• Champion engineering best practices through code reviews and mentoring, while proactively resolving performance issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and proficiency with front-end technologies like JavaScript, AngularJs, and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
