Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the ledger as the system of record, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will manage money movement, reconciliation, and payouts in a remote environment, ensuring financial correctness and reliability in a marketplace for alternative assets.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the ledger as the system of record, ensuring accuracy in entries, balances, and audit trails
- Design and manage money movement processes, including ACH, wires, and other payment rails
- Implement reconciliation procedures and handle discrepancies between the ledger and processors
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with backend systems, particularly in Python, Postgres, and AWS
- Experience with real money movement processes, including ACH origination and returns
- Hands-on experience with double-entry ledgers in a production environment
- Strong SQL skills and expertise in relational database design
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and two-sided flow transactions
