Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Delivering major features and architectural improvements, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance the Add-ons ecosystem remotely from Belgium, focusing on automated moderation, Reviewer tools, and DevHub while collaborating with cross-functional teams to modernize the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver major features and architectural improvements across the Add-ons stack, including automated moderation pipelines and Reviewer tools
• Establish and maintain engineering standards for code review, production readiness, and incident response
• Create robust observability systems and provide peer feedback to foster team growth

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django in building and maintaining production applications
• Experience with CI/CD systems and treating infrastructure as code
• Strong understanding of observability practices, including metrics and actionable alerting
• Ability to read and understand unfamiliar codebases and debug complex production issues
• Strong technical writing skills for creating documentation such as design documents and runbooks
