Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of secure payment systems, the remote Senior Software Engineer will build and enhance the payments infrastructure, focusing on card issuing and transaction processing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable card issuing and transaction processing systems
- Own complex technical initiatives from design through production, ensuring reliability and security
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality and accelerate delivery
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree is a plus
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on complex production systems
- Deep expertise in .NET/C#, Azure Cloud Services, and distributed backend systems
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event-driven architectures
- Proven ability to independently manage technical initiatives and mentor engineers
