Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Contributing to a cloud ops platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will ingest and compute data from various sources, utilizing technologies like Kubernetes, Spark, and Python, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion processes and curated data sets for Workday applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into front-end components and AI/ML workflows
- Implement and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services for data engineering solutions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Distributed Systems for Senior Software Engineer; 3+ years for Software Engineer
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Java, Scala, or Python
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related fields
- Familiarity with data engineering technologies such as Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
