Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to own partner integration surfaces, shape the public API for AI agents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance nonprofit tools.
Key responsibilities
- Own one or more partner integration surfaces end-to-end while ensuring coherence as sales, success, and product evolve
- Shape the public API to accommodate AI agents building on behalf of nonprofits
- Spike, prototype, and de-risk new partnerships, including those that require innovative solutions
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience shipping production backend services, preferably with a modern web framework
- Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel or rapid adaptability to similar frameworks
- Deep familiarity with REST API design and HTTP semantics
- Experience building against real-world third-party APIs
- Active use of terminal-based AI development tools with a review discipline for output
