Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Consumer Engineering team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will manage end-to-end software delivery for high-impact product initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable APIs and improve user engagement through data-driven engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and Data Science to create reliable technical solutions based on user needs
- Own the complete software lifecycle from design to rollout, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Design and evaluate A/B experiments to inform engineering decisions and enhance user experience
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Go or Python
- Expertise in designing scalable APIs using GraphQL, REST, or gRPC
- Experience with high-throughput caching layers and distributed datastores like Redis or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance development workflows
