Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and shipping core software for a distributed cloud marketplace, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to develop features in Go, test network upgrades, and resolve Kubernetes issues while contributing to both open source and closed source projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain core features in Go across the Akash node and provider daemon
- Design, test, and ship network upgrades, validating behavior on testnet before mainnet rollout
- Diagnose and resolve provider-side issues in Kubernetes, ensuring effective workload orchestration
Required qualifications:
- Strong, current experience writing Go in production
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including debugging real workloads and networking issues
- Expert knowledge of systems design concepts and distributed computing
- Experience in key security concepts: cryptography and identity management
- Proven ability to work in an open source Git workflow
