Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading technical initiatives and optimizing team delivery, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with technical leadership to build and support core application components in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement scalable and maintainable software systems aligned with technical roadmaps
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical requirements

Required qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree (required); M.S. in Computer Science (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience with multi-tier distributed web applications using Ruby (Ruby on Rails), J2EE, JavaScript (React, Node), Python, and other web technologies
- 5+ years of experience with architecting and maintaining JSON APIs
- Extensive knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with tools such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, GitHub, JIRA, and AWS
