Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To develop and enhance software solutions, the remote Senior Software Engineer will apply knowledge of the technical stack, engage in all aspects of software development including design, testing, and documentation, and actively participate in team collaboration and planning.
Key responsibilities
- Develop flexible and maintainable software solutions while adhering to established guidelines and best practices
- Review and enhance existing systems by addressing issues, improving performance, and remediating security vulnerabilities
- Participate in planning and user story analysis, providing feedback to ensure alignment with user requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent education and work experience
- 5+ years of experience in a professional technical environment, with at least 4 years in software design and development
- Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform, including application development and process modeling
- Experience integrating Appian with external systems and services, such as APIs and data sources
- General knowledge of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git source control is preferred
