Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and extending LLM-backed capabilities on AWS Bedrock, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop AI features for clinical, client success, and member experience teams, ensuring reliable application performance in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement LLM-backed features, including document OCR, summarization, and workflow automation
- Establish quality evaluations for AI features and manage production AI considerations such as cost and latency
- Design, build, and ship features using Python, FastAPI, and front-end technologies while ensuring compliance with PHI handling standards
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building production software with ownership of critical systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI, along with solid SQL skills on MySQL or Postgres
- Experience with server-rendered front-end technologies like Jinja2, Tailwind, and Alpine.js
- Fluency in Linux for development and comfort working from a Windows workstation in a remote desktop environment
- Experience shipping at least one LLM-powered feature to real users, including evaluation of its performance
