Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To transform healthcare operations with AI, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will build and extend LLM-backed capabilities on AWS Bedrock, ship application features, and ensure quality in production AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Build and extend AI capabilities for clinical documentation and decision support using AWS Bedrock
- Establish evaluation processes for AI features to monitor quality and performance
- Design, develop, and maintain features in Python and FastAPI, ensuring integration with healthcare data exchange standards
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building production software with ownership of critical systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI, along with solid SQL skills on MySQL or Postgres
- Experience with server-rendered front-end technologies such as Jinja2, Tailwind, and Alpine.js
- Fluency in Linux for development and experience working from a Windows workstation in a secure environment
- Practical knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards and file-based integrations
