Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain a data and AI platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers while utilizing a tech stack that includes AWS, Python, and Kafka.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the data and AI platform for automation and self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to transition ideas from concept to production
- Support and mentor team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and effective delivery
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant development experience in building production-grade solutions
- 5+ years of experience leading the design of reliable and scalable services and APIs
- Proficient in a high-order object-oriented language, particularly Python, with openness to other languages like Go or Java
- Experience with event-driven architectures and high-volume data processing technologies such as Kafka and Flink
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and public cloud service platforms
