Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely as a long-term consultant, the Senior Software Engineer will analyze requirements, design, develop, and test software for satellite communications systems, collaborating within a SCRUM team to drive innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create efficient software designs for satellite systems
- Document, design, develop, test, and integrate software functionality within an Agile framework
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during software deployment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on C/C++ software development experience, particularly in PHY-MAC control-plane software
- Experience developing real-time signal-processing algorithms on programmable DSP processors
- Strong programming skills in Vector C/C++ with a focus on DSP algorithm optimization
- Familiarity with 5G NR/5G NTN MAC and PHY-MAC interactions
