Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of software for marina operators and boaters, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will own the entire software lifecycle, from scoping and design to implementation and deployment, while working within a small, dynamic team focused on impactful outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain software solutions for marina operations and the boater app
- Take ownership of problems and deliver features that directly impact customer operations
- Collaborate with team members to improve and understand existing codebases
Required qualifications
- Experience shipping and owning production web applications
- Proven fluency in AI applications with tangible results
- Full-stack development experience, preferably with Rails, React, Postgres, and AWS
- Ability to read and enhance unfamiliar code without suggesting rewrites
- Strong writing skills to communicate technical tradeoffs effectively
