Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Utilizing software development principles to address customer issues, the full-time hybrid Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Java applications and Linux shell scripts while contributing to the Business Logic and Database layer of IoT devices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions, focusing on the Onvif camera feature and mitigating security vulnerabilities
- Analyze system functionality and perform troubleshooting and debugging on NetBotz hardware
- Collaborate with team members on code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and optimizing code for performance and scalability
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with five years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with seven years of experience
- Five years of development experience in Java (versions 8, 11, or 17) on Linux systems
- Five years of experience with Web Services and the Spring Framework
- Three years of experience in SQL, JavaScript, C, or C++, and writing shell scripts on Linux or Unix
- Proficiency in IP Networking, including HTTP/HTTPS or SNMP, and experience with Git in an Agile environment
