Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a remote, full-time team focused on building robust cloud infrastructure for a globally deployed relational database engine, where the candidate will design and implement application layers, business logic, and API workflows while managing complex multi-cloud deployments using Terraform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement application layers and API workflows for cloud operations and relational database services
• Lead features from conception to production, ensuring clean and scalable code while managing multi-cloud infrastructure
• Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure reproducible deployments across various cloud environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years focused on data-intensive applications
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a non-trivial production feature or module
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing application services across at least two major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one backend language (e.g., Go, Java, C++)
• Deep practical application of relational databases, including SQL, query optimization, and schema design
