Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To advance AI capabilities in education, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying secure and reliable AI-enabled products while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management to evaluate and prioritize AI opportunities based on feasibility and risk
- Lead the technical design and implementation of AI-enabled products, ensuring adherence to responsible AI principles
- Mentor team members to build AI literacy and guide the organization in adopting AI solutions securely and responsibly
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a professional software engineer
- Proven expertise in designing and operating secure, reliable production systems
- Hands-on experience transitioning applied-AI capabilities from experimentation to production
- Deep proficiency in at least one modern programming language and experience with web application frameworks
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively in software engineering
