Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support Pivotal's Case Execution team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and enhance backend systems for eligibility, batching, submissions, and claim orchestration, while collaborating cross-functionally in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve core case execution systems, focusing on backend development across various workflows
• Tackle complex, data-driven backend problems, ensuring the correctness and reliability of decision logic
• Contribute to workflow orchestration, coordinating how cases are staged, routed, and executed end to end

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
• Hands-on experience building data-heavy, workflow-oriented systems
• Experience with complex, data-driven decision logic or orchestration problems
• Proficiency in Python and comfortable in a Python-based backend environment
• Self-directed and proactive with strong collaboration skills across teams
