Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Combining software engineering with hands-on preference-data work, the contract Senior Software Engineer will design evaluation rubrics, build Python or TypeScript tooling, and create actionable write-ups for an AI research team, working remotely for approximately three months.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine evaluation rubrics and preference-data criteria
• Build or maintain Python or TypeScript tooling and pipelines for data collection and evaluation
• Turn findings into concise, actionable write-ups for researchers and engineers

Required qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in Python or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience collecting preference data or creating evaluation rubrics
• Strong technical judgment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
