Job Summary
To enhance the reliability of web services, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will lead backend development, maintain server-side logic, and ensure production health while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead backend development and maintain server-side logic for various services
- Take ownership of services, including deployment, operation, and monitoring in production
- Collaborate with CloudEng and support teams to resolve production issues and improve environments
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software development focused on backend technologies
- Strong experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Rust in building backend services
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization
- Hands-on DevOps experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Docker-based pipelines
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Sentry and Grafana
