Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Taking ownership of back-end systems, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will lead backend development, maintain cloud infrastructure, and ensure service reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead backend development by building and maintaining server-side logic
- Take ownership of services by deploying, operating, and ensuring their health in production
- Collaborate with the CloudEng Team to improve production environments and participate in on-call support
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies
- Strong experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Rust for back-end services
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization
- Hands-on DevOps experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Docker-based pipelines
- Experience with observability tools such as Sentry and Grafana
