Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the infrastructure and developer experience, the full-time Senior Software Engineer, Platform will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, manage CI/CD pipelines, and enhance local development environments in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and operate Payabli's cloud infrastructure, making architectural decisions for scalability and resilience
- Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, safe, and repeatable production deployments
- Enhance the local development experience to enable engineers to be productive quickly and efficiently
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional infrastructure or platform engineering experience with production AWS environments
- Deep expertise in AWS services (ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and understanding of architectural trade-offs
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that teams trust and rely on
- Fluency in infrastructure-as-code practices and tools
- Security-minded approach, with knowledge of network segmentation and compliance in financial environments
