Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a newly-funded engineering squad, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build full-stack features across C#/.NET and React/TypeScript, owning significant pieces of the contractor workflow for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full sale-to-production lifecycle from technical design through shipping and iteration
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate contractor needs into software solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews, while debugging and resolving complex issues across the stack
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems
- Strong full-stack skills in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript, with experience in SQL databases
- Working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with Git, unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling
- B.S., M.S., or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
