Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time remote Senior Software Development Engineer on the AI Foundations team, the candidate will design, build, and operate software systems for AI-powered applications, collaborating closely with machine learning engineers and ensuring system reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement core services and infrastructure for AI development and deployment
- Own the full lifecycle of services, including deployment, monitoring, and operational improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define tradeoffs and roadmap for AI capabilities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on secure and efficient systems
- 5+ years of experience in Python development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in building ETL pipelines and understanding distributed systems concepts
- Experience with cloud and container platforms, including AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes
