Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building cloud-native applications on AWS, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain trader-facing web experiences and internal tools using TypeScript, Node.js, and React, while ensuring system reliability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full stack features from technical design through deployment and production support
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to shape project scope and provide technical estimates
- Write technical designs and guide architecture decisions in partnership with senior engineers and management
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade systems with user-facing APIs
- Strong foundation in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js, and frontend development in React
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, focusing on performance and security
- Strong database fundamentals with PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization
- A production mindset with a focus on metrics, logging, and end-to-end ownership of delivery
