Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative software solutions, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and deliver high-quality front-end components while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers, with telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and development of front-end components and interfaces for software products
- Collaborate with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to create seamless web applications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers, enhancing their skills in front-end development
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems, plus five years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree with seven years of experience
- Five years of experience translating requirements specifications to software architecture and performing code reviews
- Hands-on software development experience in a heterogeneous environment with Java and Java EE stacks
- Proficiency in the spring framework and web applications such as Apache, Struts, and Hibernate
- Experience with UML and E-R diagrams
