Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role is focused on developing and optimizing Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure, managing project priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain foundational cloud infrastructure, including accounts, networking, and Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management
- Define and implement software delivery processes for Kubernetes, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments
- Operate and support the systems developed, focusing on availability, upgrades, and incident response
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience with production infrastructure or distributed systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in infrastructure automation
- Proficiency in AWS or GCP, infrastructure-as-code, cloud networking, and Kubernetes
- Experience in packaging and delivering software for Kubernetes, understanding tradeoffs in deployment approaches
