Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Middleware & Integrations, this full-time remote position will provide technical leadership for high-visibility web applications, focusing on architecture, design, and delivery of scalable single-page applications built on AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture, design, and technical decision-making for Node.js backend services and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system reliability while ensuring compliance with security best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture
- Strong Node.js backend experience, preferably with NestJS
- Proficiency in programming languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and PHP
- Experience with AWS core services and building automation within cloud-native environments using IaC frameworks
