Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions, conduct code reviews, and ensure accessibility compliance while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective software outputs
- Conduct code peer reviews to maintain code quality and troubleshoot complex software issues
- Establish strong software engineering practices and contribute to technical sprint planning and team decision-making
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of engineering experience with a focus on complex software systems
- Experience working with the federal government, preferably with the VA
- Strong technical expertise in React Native, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, AWS, and GitHub Actions
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
- Experience incorporating accessibility and security into software design and development
