Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving efforts in building high-quality, scalable software systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on backend and frontend development, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to code/design reviews and participate in coding and debugging throughout the application lifecycle
- Build and maintain data pipelines, perform UI tests, and manage environment configurations to ensure system health
- Provide mentoring and technical support to junior engineers while responding to on-call incidents and maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development or a related field, or 6 years with an advanced degree
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Kotlin or Java, with experience as a full stack developer
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js, along with experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Cloud Native Infrastructure, including AWS and Kubernetes, and solid knowledge of Kafka fundamentals
