Job Summary
Seeking an impact-oriented Senior Software Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails, this full-time remote position will manage end-to-end feature delivery for the Huntress Core Platform, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and releasing robust software solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and drive projects from start to finish, including engineering design, coding, testing, and rollout
- Work across all levels of the stack to deliver functional, secure, and scalable solutions
- Mentor and provide actionable feedback to team members to enhance their skills and contributions
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience developing complex, scalable software products
- 5+ years of expertise in Ruby on Rails with a focus on maintainable code
- Proficiency in full-stack development, including JavaScript, CSS, and modern Rails frontend frameworks
- Strong background in Linux-based infrastructure and databases such as Postgres
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience
