Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating in a mob programming environment, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build scalable backend services, contribute to core infrastructure, and enhance database reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build next-generation backend services and solve complex distributed systems challenges
- Contribute to maintaining and scaling core infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance
- Participate in real-time development through mob programming, code reviews, and architectural discussions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in at least one modern programming language
- 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies and a strong desire to learn Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience developing and supporting REST APIs for highly scalable applications
- A genuine interest in team-centric engineering practices and collaborative coding environments
- A BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
