Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the technical quality of software solutions, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design systems, guide architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely on accounting and payments projects.
Key responsibilities
- Architect features and systems end-to-end, ensuring implementation quality across the engineering pod
- Lead the migration of payment processing to Go worker routines and drive the development of a reusable invoicing SDK
- Define and champion the testing strategy for the team, proactively addressing technical debt and mentoring junior engineers
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems
- Strong backend development skills in PHP, Go, or similar languages, along with proficiency in relational databases like MySQL
- Solid frontend experience with modern frameworks, preferably Angular, and familiarity with building reusable components
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools as part of the workflow
- Demonstrable ability to architect systems and mentor junior engineers effectively
