Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading full-stack development for AI pilot projects, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will own software components from design to deployment, integrate AI/ML functionalities, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring adherence to accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development using React/TypeScript and Python/FastAPI across multiple AI pilots
- Modernize and migrate pilot applications to production-grade architectures aligned with the VA Design System and accessibility standards
- Build and maintain CI/CD templates and deployment workflows on Azure
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain VA T2 Public Trust clearance
- BS degree with 10+ years of experience, including technical leadership
- Expert-level full-stack development experience in React/TypeScript and Python/FastAPI
- Proficiency in Azure, including containerized deployment (AKS and/or Container Apps)
- Experience with AI Foundry, LangChain, and LangGraph
