Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance developer productivity and system reliability, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable platform services and shared libraries while contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable platform services and shared libraries
- Contribute to platform and system architecture decisions with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
Required qualifications
- 7-8 years of software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree or a master's degree with equivalent experience
- Strong experience in software development focused on backend systems and services
- Proficiency in Java, C#, C++, or similar backend languages, with knowledge of software design principles
- Experience building and operating scalable, reliable, and secure systems, including container-based applications
- 4+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
