Job Summary
To enhance foundational systems for product development, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and operate database and storage platform software, improve backend services, and solve database performance challenges in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate database and storage platform software for reliable product development
- Automate database lifecycle operations through services, APIs, and developer tools
- Lead technical projects from problem framing to implementation and operational ownership
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with a Master's degree
- Experience with backend, infrastructure, or distributed systems, particularly relational databases in production
- Strong understanding of database concepts such as transactions, indexing, and query performance
