Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the Never-Ending Support (NES) team, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer (.NET) will focus on producing critical security patches for CVEs affecting end-of-life versions of .NET and related packages while building tooling and automation to scale this process.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze CVEs and apply upstream security fixes to end-of-life .NET versions
- Build and test end-of-life .NET versions on various toolchains, including legacy environments
- Develop AI-assisted automation for patch analysis and regression verification to enhance product security
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including low-level experience with the .NET Runtime and SDK
- Demonstrated ability to understand and reimplement security patches against different code baselines
- Experience building and debugging complex software from source across multiple platforms
- Strong ownership of correctness and quality through rigorous testing and regression coverage
- Practical experience using LLMs to automate engineering tasks with sound judgment on automation reliability
