Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance foundational systems for product development, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and operate database and storage platform software, build automation tools, and solve scaling and performance challenges in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate database and storage platform software to support engineering teams
- Develop services, APIs, and tools for automating database lifecycle operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address schema design and recurring challenges in database management
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with backend, infrastructure, or distributed systems, particularly with relational databases in production
- Strong understanding of database concepts such as transactions, indexing, and query performance
