Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of AI products, the long-term contract Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and enhance scalable applications and systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production-quality software for AI applications
- Build and enhance scalable applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Collaborate with machine learning scientists and engineers to integrate AI capabilities into products
Required qualifications
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and RESTful API development, preferably using FastAPI
- Experience designing and developing large-scale, distributed, or cloud-based systems
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or another relational database
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed-systems architecture
