Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To shape the core architecture of a Fintech Platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect and implement scalable backend microservices within one of three squads Payments, Disbursements, or GRC while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend microservices for financial operations
- Develop systems for secure transaction processing and timely disbursement of funds
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver comprehensive financial solutions and mentor junior developers
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a dynamic environment
- Proven experience in building and iterating on software applications in the Fintech domain
- Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and web service design, particularly REST APIs
- Familiarity with architectural patterns and practices like A/B Testing and Feature Flags
- Experience with payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-driven platforms is highly desirable
