Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To build innovative AI systems, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and operate production AI agents, enhance the retrieval and context layer, and extend internal platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate production AI agents, including an autonomous coding agent that integrates with Jira and Slack
- Develop the retrieval and context layer for the AI platform, ensuring efficient access to relevant information
- Evaluate and optimize agent performance through metrics, tests, and cost management strategies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with ownership of production services
- At least 1 year of experience shipping LLM-powered features or agents to production
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Ruby, with experience in a polyglot codebase
- Experience with major cloud platforms, CI/CD, and observability tooling
