Job Summary
Building device integrations to enhance student access to learning apps, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop features across backend services and native device clients, collaborating with Product, Design, and IT admins, while working remotely or onsite in San Francisco.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain device integrations for iOS, macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS to improve user experience
- Lead complex projects from design to deployment, ensuring features are reliable and meet district needs
- Mentor peers through code reviews and provide technical leadership within the team
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering principles
- Professional experience building native applications for Windows, with familiarity in other platforms like iOS or macOS
- Experience with MDM platforms and integrating with services like Apple School Manager
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong commitment to writing modular, extensible, and testable code
