Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To improve data science and product development, the full-time Senior Software Engineer in Data Analytics Engineering will build scalable data foundations, analytics tooling, and analysis pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with the flexibility to work remotely and in-office 1-2 times per month.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document instrumentation and experimentation standards, partnering with product engineering teams for implementation
• Create and enhance scalable analysis pipelines and tooling to produce reliable insights and strengthen understanding of data structures and metrics
• Identify data quality gaps, advocate for improvements, and maintain clear documentation for tools and datasets

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics engineering or data solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, R, or a comparable programming language for working with large datasets
• Experience building and operating data workflows, including ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration
• Ability to translate partner needs into technical objectives and collaborate across various teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
