Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support USCYBERCOM J9 and the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) mission, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and REST APIs while working with Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, microservices, and REST APIs for cyber training capabilities
- Integrate software with cloud infrastructure and maintain applications deployed in Kubernetes environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure reliable delivery
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one or two programming languages, with a preference for TypeScript and/or Go
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience in collaborative Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps environments
