Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the USCYBERCOM J9 and Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) mission, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs, while working with Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and microservices supporting cyber training capabilities
- Integrate software with virtualized and cloud infrastructure, utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
- Troubleshoot and debug application and infrastructure issues across distributed environments
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one or two programming languages, preferably TypeScript or Go
- Experience working with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience in collaborative software development environments, such as Agile or DevOps
