Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced software engineers will find a remote full-time opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer focused on building and maintaining production software that implements healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7 while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain production software that simplifies healthcare complexities through interoperability standards
- Develop and test APIs, services, and data pipelines that work with FHIR resources and HL7 messages
- Collaborate with Product Managers and operational staff to define and implement new features
Required qualifications:
- Hands-on experience building production software with FHIR and HL7
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Experience writing SQL queries in database systems such as Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, or Snowflake
- Familiarity with creating and calling Restful APIs; experience with gRPC is a plus
- Experience working with cloud services such as GCP or AWS
