Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

In this hybrid role, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build full-stack Pinner-facing features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive new initiatives from inception to release while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration in the Bay Area, Seattle, or New York City.

Key responsibilities:

• Build out full-stack features to enhance user experience on Pinterest
• Lead the product development process from ideation to implementation and release, including A/B testing and solution architecture
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to create end-to-end functionality

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack or backend development for consumer or business-facing products
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in one or more backend and frontend tech stacks, such as JavaScript, React, and API development
• Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code following best practices
• Strong ability to stay updated with new technologies and trends in the industry
