Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the orchestration of money movement, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement payment systems that ensure high reliability and efficiency in processing transactions, working remotely and focusing on backend systems integration and risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage payment rails and money movement, including ACH, RTP, wires, and stablecoin settlements
- Build and maintain a multi-provider architecture for seamless payment processing and risk management
- Develop tools for payment operations to enhance visibility and troubleshooting capabilities for transaction issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend systems with a focus on Python, Postgres, and AWS
- Proven experience with real money movement, including ACH and wire transfers
- Experience integrating multiple payment providers in a production environment
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database design
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and the implications of transaction timing and reliability
