Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the integration of AI in healthcare, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will build and extend language-model capabilities on AWS Bedrock, focusing on clinical applications while ensuring reliable production features and data integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend LLM-backed capabilities for clinical applications, including document OCR, summarization, and workflow automation
• Establish and maintain evaluations for AI features to monitor quality and performance
• Design, test, and ship features in a Python and FastAPI back end, ensuring robust data exchange with healthcare partners

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building production software with ownership of critical systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI, with solid SQL skills on MySQL or Postgres
• Experience with server-rendered front-end technologies such as Jinja2, Tailwind, and Alpine.js
• Fluency in Linux development environments and comfort working from a Windows workstation
• Practical knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards and file-based integrations
